Normally we charge a one-off fee to design and build your site. For agreements signed by 31 December 2026, we waive it. You pay the monthly fee and third-party costs, such as your domain and Stripe’s card payment fees.

Every direct booking is a booking without commission.
Platforms are good at finding a first guest. They are expensive for the guest who already knows you, comes back every summer, or was sent by a friend. Those bookings can come straight to you.

The money comes straight to you
A guest pays and the money goes into your own Stripe account. Nobody holds it until the guest arrives or leaves.
Example with €1,840. Direct booking: the guest pays and, after payment processing, the money is in your account, usually in 3 business days. Through a platform: the platform holds the money, only starts the payout after the guest arrives or leaves, so the money lands months after the booking.
The first payout to a new Stripe account is a one-off that takes longer, about 7 to 14 days.

How guests pay
Every payment runs through Stripe, straight into your own Stripe account. The money goes to you; we never hold it.

What is Host Your Villa?
Host Your Villa is a service for hosts of every kind of accommodation, from villas and holiday homes to apartments, rooms, guesthouses and small hotels: we design and build a custom website where guests book and pay you directly, with no platform commission, and run it for a monthly fee that covers hosting, the admin, a Telegram bot and analytics.
Do I have to leave the booking platforms?
No. Many owners keep the platforms for discovery and let returning and referred guests book direct. Your calendar shows both, so double bookings are much less likely.
Can the calendar sync with the other platforms I use?
Yes. We connect your availability calendar to your calendars on other platforms over iCal, so booked dates show everywhere and you avoid double bookings.
Is it a template with my logo on it?
No. We design each site from scratch around your place, your photographs and the way you like to welcome guests. The examples above share nothing visible.
How do guests pay?
By card or SEPA Direct Debit through Stripe, straight into your own Stripe account. The rest can be paid on arrival. See “How guests pay” above.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, the admin, the Telegram bot, analytics, security updates and small changes to your site. Pricing is set on the call, once we know what your place needs.
Can I edit things myself?
Prices, availability, deals, documents and guest messages are yours to change in the admin. Larger changes to the site’s design are part of our service.
Who owns the domain and the guest data?
Your guest data is always yours: you are the controller, we only process it on your behalf. The domain and accounts (Stripe, Google, email) are in your name by default. If you prefer, we set up and run everything on our accounts, as agreed in the contract. Whenever you want, we hand everything over, domain, site and data export, and help you set up your own accounts. No lock-in.

Any language your guests speak; our sites already run in English, German, Swedish, Norwegian and Dutch.
